Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination:
- Support the development and execution of project schedules and budgets.
- Assist in tracking project milestones and deliverables.
- Work closely with engineers and technicians to ensure smooth project execution.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, scope changes, and key decisions.
- Prepare status reports and updates for senior project managers and stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration & Communication:
- Facilitate coordination between internal teams, contractors, and clients.
- Communicate project expectations and updates effectively to all stakeholders.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure projects adhere to NEC, OSHA, and company-specific safety standards.
- Identify potential risks and contribute to mitigation strategies.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build relationships with clients and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Address client concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
- 1-3 years of experience supporting project management, preferably in electrical or industrial projects.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with electrical power systems, switching equipment, or related industries.
- Exposure to NETA testing or electrical commissioning projects.
- Familiarity with project scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
This position involves both office and fieldwork. Candidates should be prepared for:
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Working in various environments, including power facilities and outdoor job sites.
- Standing, walking, and climbing ladders as needed.
