JOB SUMMARY :
TechServ is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a PE license and substantial experience in the Utility Industry. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory and client-specific standards, and providing expert guidance on engineering designs and solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manage and oversee engineering projects from receival through to successful completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality deliverables.
- Review, approve, and validate engineering designs, plans, and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility within.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations throughout all project phases.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of electrical concepts, industry practices, codes, and procedures specific to the utility sector.
- Provide leadership and expert guidance to the joint use engineering team, mentoring and developing less experienced engineers and designers.
- Prepare, present, and communicate technical reports, proposals, and findings to stakeholders.
- Lead the QA / QC process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project requirements.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication across design disciplines to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Ensure compliance with client and site-specific safety policies and procedures.
- Partner with leadership and team members to support and drive internal change initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness.
