Duties
- Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy
- Verify applicant information including employment, income, credit history, and property valuation
- Ensure compliance with TILA, Fair Housing regulations, and other lending guidelines
- Communicate with underwriters to clarify or obtain additional information
- Coordinate with escrow agents, title companies, and other parties to finalize loan details
- Maintain accurate records of all loan transactions
Skills
- Proficiency in 10 key typing
- Knowledge of loan origination and processing procedures
- Familiarity with basic math and credit analysis
- Understanding of mortgage servicing and underwriting principles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
