Job Summary
As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our company operates in a legal and ethical manner while meeting its business objectives. You will develop, implement, and manage an effective compliance program to prevent and detect violations of legal guidelines and internal policies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the company's compliance program
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas of non-compliance
- Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations affecting the industry
- Collaborate with internal teams to address compliance issues
- Provide training to employees on compliance-related topics
- Investigate and resolve compliance concerns or violations
Requirements
- Strong financial acumen
- Knowledge of corporate accounting principles
- Experience in compliance management
- Familiarity with securities law, SOX, ACH, and Bank Secrecy Act
- Ability to conduct internal audits effectively
- Proficiency in financial software for monitoring and reporting purposes
- Experience in financial auditing would be advantageous.
