Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Processor to join our team. The Mortgage Processor plays a crucial role in the mortgage loan process by ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete for loan approval.
Responsibilities
- Review and verify mortgage applications and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness
- Communicate with loan officers, underwriters, and clients to obtain any missing or additional documentation
- Ensure compliance with TILA, FNMA, and other relevant regulations
- Input loan application data into the system accurately
- Assist in resolving any issues that may arise during the loan processing
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information
Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic math and 10-key typing skills
- Familiarity with loan origination software and mortgage processing systems
- Understanding of Fair Housing regulations and mortgage servicing practices
- Experience working in a bank or financial services environment is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
