Job Title : Aerospace Stress Engineer
Location : Richardson, TX(Onsite)
Duration : 12 Months
Must have:
- Perform review of damage descriptions, compare against structural repair manuals and determine allowable damages/deviations, prepare appropriate repair sketch using Canvas, perform Static and fatigue stress analysis for aircraft components.
- Use of classical hand calculation approach along with customer analysis tools (Boeing analysis tools). Prepare analysis documentation for airworthiness certification/approval. Prepare repair scheme detailing fabrication, installation and inspection.
- Understanding of failure modes, load paths
- Experience is performing Stress Analysis for Boeing Aircraft Programs/Stress Analysis for Aircraft Maintenance Repair/MRB Stress Analysis
- Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
- Experience in metallic and Composites structural analysis
- Experience in Load, stress calculations and preparing technical reports
- Experience in Finite Element Analysis tools (Nastran, Patran)
- Experience in static, fatigue and damage tolerance calculations
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
- Experienced in PATRAN, NASTRAN, FEMAP
- Experience in MRB and SRM
- Experience in CATIA V5, Enovia
