Job Title: Aerospace Test & Validation Engineer
Location: Cincinnati, OH (Onsite)
Duration: 12 months
In this role, you will be working alongside OEM customer teams performing engineering validation tasks supporting aircraft engine development, testing and certification.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate engine test and/or assembly/tear-down actions between the technicians and IPT/Engineering groups.
- Communicate technical issues to IPT/Engineering groups and work with cross-functional teams to support finding solutions
- Collect and report flight test data and/or engine assembly/disassembly status to IPT/Engineering groups
- Local candidates in Connecticut required. Variable shift work sometimes required
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
- BS in Engineering or Associate degree with relevant work experience
- 2 years relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
- Strong analytical, creative problem-solving capabilities
- Experience in technical management of engine parts, repair, engine test, engine assembly and disassembly
- Familiar with engine work instructions, part/assembly drawings and materials lists
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Active security clearance preferred but not required
