What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronic Technician I position at Techstaff?
SUMMARY :
The position requires operation of assorted electronic test equipment and a basic understanding of flow meter calibration to enable the person to adjust, scale, and program complex electronic systems to specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Calibrate and program microprocessor controlled electronic equipment using personal computers;
- Make modifications to existing boards from engineering drawings or diagrams with guidance from an Electronics Technician II or Engineering;
- Install and solder components onto circuit boards.
- Assemble electronic enclosures and system test electronics mated or paired with flow meters.
- Mix and use potting compounds, conformance coatings, etc. as required by drawings and procedures.
