Job Summary :
Our client, a global IoT leader is seeking a Network Engineer with expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting complex multi-vendor network environments. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge in WAN and LAN technologies, strong experience with routing and switching, and a deep understanding of network protocols. This role requires a highly skilled engineer who can independently design, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize critical network infrastructures while collaborating closely with operations, project management, and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, configure, implement, test, and support multi-site network environments consisting of multi-vendor routers, switches, and Wireless LAN.
- Provide technical leadership for network transformation initiatives and act as the primary engineering liaison to Nat Grid Operations.
- Develop advanced network designs and solutions, ensuring alignment with customer business needs and technology roadmaps.
- Hands-on configuration and optimization of routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EIGRP, HSRP, RIPv1, RIPv2).
- Design and deploy QoS policies, VLAN configurations, and Layer 2 / 3 networking solutions.
- Provide technical project management support, including requirements gathering, resource forecasting, and issue resolution.
- Interface with project management teams and serve as a customer-facing technical expert for advanced network designs and implementations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues while adhering to best practices, policies, and security standards.
