Position: Senior Income Tax Specialist
Location: Woodcliff Lake, NJ
Duration: 5 Months
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related.
• 3-5 years state income tax compliance and research.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work proactively and successfully as a team member and individually.
• Communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing when interacting with management.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the preparation/review of state separate and combined/consolidated income tax returns and tax workpaper
• Prepare quarterly estimates and extensions for all companies within the client US Group.
• Analyze and respond to state notices.
• Assist with state income tax audits.
• Compile state income tax research and monitor legislative changes
• Interface and collaborate with various internal and external service providers and state tax authorities to deal with various tax topics.
• 3-5 years in Sales & Use tax experience a plus.
