Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Snowflake environments, ensuring optimal performance and security
- Implement and manage Snowflake authentication architectures, including Azure AD, SSO, Multifactor Authentication, and SiteMinder SSO
- Optimize and tune SQL queries for improved performance
- Work with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, with GCP experience as a plus
- Develop automation scripts using Python for enhanced system efficiency
- Support data governance and compliance best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Snowflake with data pipelines and ETL tools
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts
- In-depth understanding of Snowflake features and functionalities
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, with GCP as a plus
- Knowledge of data integration tools and ETL processes
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python for automation
- Experience with data governance and compliance best practices
- Bonus: Experience with Azure AD B2C
