Job Summary :
Techstyles Sportswear, a leading manufacturer specializing in high-quality screen printing and custom apparel, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. This role is crucial in managing financial records, reconciling accounts, handling collections, and maintaining fixed asset schedules. The ideal candidate will be experienced in QuickBooks (QBs), Excel, and have a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities :
Accounting & Financial Reporting :
- Reconcile all bank accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Complete GL Summaries for Balance Sheet accounts, including the Fixed Asset schedule.
- Process vendor invoices and post them into QuickBooks.
- Attach payment stubs with invoices and maintain filing systems.
- Close monthly books, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- File sales tax returns and assist with business property tax filings.
