Location: Dallas, TX (Locals only - No Relocation)
Work Type: W2 Contract

Role Overview
As an Android Engineer, you ll help us build our mobile experience that serves to strongly identify our users.
Our mobile app uses Kotlin and Jetpack Compose as well as advanced financial features of the platform.
Our application is packaged with a traditional application in the Play Store.
Responsibilities - Senior Android Developer:
- 8 years of working experience in Android application development in Kotlin.
- Strong knowledge in Android SDK, JSON, RESTful API and integrating third-party libraries and APIs.
- Experience with Cloud engineering, Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Can be productive using Compose and Kotlin, even if you ve worked previously with more traditional apps,
- In depth understanding of programming languages like Kotlin, Java, Jetpack Compose
- Utilizing Android Studio and Gradle for development.
- Managing dependencies with Gradle.
- Building Android Modules, SDKs, Framework is plus.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services integration
- An understanding of mobile UI and UX principles and design patterns
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git
- Solid understanding of software development principles, including agile methodologies
- Familiar with MVVM pattern, data structures with solid OOP
- Hands on Experience with Kotlin Coroutines (Android)
Tech Stack:
Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, MVVM, Jetpack Navigation, Maven Artifacts, Multi Module App, Unit Testing (JUnit, Compose), Multithreading, Firebase Crashlytics, RemoteConfigs.

- Capable of productive and self-guided work on a remote team
- Managed the build and release process for Google Play.
- Can synthesize the big picture when thinking about technical product problems and solutions
- Familiar with GooglePlay policies for App submission
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Cloud exposure (Azure) would be an added advantage
