Based in the DC metropolitan area, TechSur specializes in advanced cloud services, modernization for both IT structures and applications, leveraging Agile development, and Data Analytics. Since we were formed in August of 2016, we have supported multiple impactful and exciting government programs.
Job Responsibilities
Analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities.
Translate detailed design into application systems.
Test, debug, and refine applications to produce the required product.
Prepare required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation.
Enhance applications to improve performance and add functionality.
Provide technical direction to engineers to ensure program deadlines are met.
Required Skills / Work Experience
3-5 years of related experience
Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and integration tools.
Familiarity with application frameworks and development tools.
Design, develop, and configure applications based on client or business requirements.
Write clean and efficient code to build or customize software solutions.
Test and debug applications to ensure functionality and performance.
Work with stakeholders to gather and analyze application requirements.
Translate user needs into technical specifications for development.
Provide technical support for deployed applications, addressing user issues and resolving bugs.
Monitor application performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and other systems.
Ensure smooth communication between different software components.
Diagnose and resolve application issues, both in development and production environments.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.
Customize applications to meet specific business needs or client requests.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
Create and maintain documentation for application processes, configurations, and troubleshooting.
Provide user guides and technical manuals for clients or internal teams.
Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or related fiel
