Job Details
Need an Oracle DBA to join us and play a supporting role in managing and optimizing our organization's Oracle database systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of the databases, as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software and related products
- Design and implement database backup and recovery solutions
- Monitor database performance and make recommendations for improvements
- Troubleshoot and resolve database related issues in a timely manner
- Implement and maintain database security protocols
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate database systems with other applications
- Create and maintain documentation of database configurations and processes
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support
Qualifications and Skills:
- 5 years of experience working with Oracle database management
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
- Strong understanding of database architecture and performance tuning
- Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and Recovery Manager
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) required
