Techtronic Industries (TTI) is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at our Wellford, SC Distribution Center. This key role will be responsible for performing installation, maintenance, pre-maintenance, and repairs to all material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and provide technical support for automated warehouse distribution/manufacturing processes and equipment, supporting all facilities.
- Conduct necessary research and provide recommendations on machine operation and efficiency.
- Manage reports and records, explaining actions and procedures carried out with suggested solutions.
- Read and understand manufacturer's instructions, engineering specifications, sketches, operation manuals, and diagrams to diagnose and troubleshoot abnormalities.
- Examine or perform tasks on broken machine parts, identifying defective parts or recommending repair requirements.
- Demonstrate mastery in troubleshooting using deductive reasoning and schematics, showcasing excellent general understanding of machine and robot automation.
- Complete preventive maintenance prerequisites on mechanical equipment such as motors, conveyors, production machines, pneumatic tools, and engines, ensuring smooth operation of machinery and mechanical gadgets.
- Perform troubleshooting tasks and repair works on complex industrial machines.
- Ensure cleanliness of machines and components by using brooms, air guns, solvents, cloths, vacuum, or other appliances.
- Disassemble machines and remove parts for replacement or repair using cranes, hoists, chain falls, hand tools, and jacks.
- Replace, fix, or realign machine parts and accessories according to production specifications.
- Apply lubricants or other materials to machines or their parts, following stated procedures.
- Display eagerness and ability to comprehend general maintenance in all aspects of the maintenance program.
- Perform daily Preventative Maintenance on equipment.
- Exhibit outstanding ability to learn and comprehend the fundamentals of machine functioning.
- Demonstrate excellent general understanding of Electrical and Pneumatic systems, mastering troubleshooting using deductive reasoning and schematics.
- Carry out scheduled maintenance examinations, fixing, cleaning, and aligning diverse systems to guarantee proper system operations.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
