TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc., has an opening in its Anderson, SC office for a Quality Engineer II that will use quality assurance / control process sampling systems, procedures, and analytic tools to ensure high quality products are being delivered to our customers.

Primary Responsibilities
- Provide quality input on New Product Development projects. This includes product testing requirements, product history, and dFMEA collaboration.
- Drive the Continuous Improvement of quality processes, product quality, and product reliability based on customer reviews, customer returns, and product warranty data.
- Analyze return goods and defect trend data to drive investigations on product quality and reliability.
- Interact with manufacturing counterparts and suppliers in Asia to drive product and manufacturing investigations and corrective actions.
- Provide Supplier Quality Support with suppliers, including development of parts and assemblies, improvement of process capabilities and drive Root Cause / Corrective Actions when necessary.
- Own the 8D CAPA investigations for product and process related customer complaints.
- Inspect, test, and analyze components and products for conformance to specifications
- Develop inspection instructions and procure inspection equipment.
- Perform audits to assure procedures are being followed at suppliers, global manufacturing locations, and receiving warehouses.
- Gather data and authors reports to indicate progress toward company goals and objectives
- Conduct cross-functional meetings on continuous improvement
- Performs other duties as assigned
