About the Job :

As a UI / UX Designer at TechUp Labs, you will play a crucial role in designing user-friendly interfaces and creating engaging user experiences for our products. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll be responsible for developing visually appealing and intuitive designs that enhance user satisfaction and drive product success.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications using Figma.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to gather requirements and translate them into user-centric designs.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and validate design concepts.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products.
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and users.
  • Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve the design process.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a UI / UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design expertise.
  • Proficiency in Figma and other design tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD).
  • Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively present and explain design concepts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for understanding the technical feasibility of designs.
  • Previous experience working in a startup or high-growth environment.
