Teck Alaska Incorporated, Red Dog Operations, one of the world's largest producers of zinc concentrate, is recruiting for a Grade Control Intern. Due to anticipated needs, we are currently recruiting for a career oriented individual to fill this role
Reporting to the Senior Geologist - Mine
Responsibilities :
- Complete assigned work in a professional manner including necessary measurements, estimates, calculations, analysis, interpretation, reporting and recommendations. This may include but not be limited to : data entry, collection of geological data, ore waste separation, stockpile planning and report generation
- Liaise with other engineers and geologists as required to get assistance in the completion of assigned tasks
- Communicate effectively with operating and technical groups to ensure optimum utilization of resources
- Perform other related duties as assigned
