Due to anticipated needs, we are currently recruiting for a career oriented individual to fill these roles.Rotation will be 2 weeks on-site with 2 weeks off-site.Responsibilities :
- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Operate heavy equipment which includes, but not limited to :
- Hyster V1050, Forklifts, Tractor / Trailer, Medium Sized Vehicles, 966 loader
- Collect, clean and inspect shipping containers
- Maintain container database
- Prepare items for southbound shipment
- Promote high standards of housekeeping and safety
- Work directly with team members during shipping seasonQualifications :
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid and current Drivers License
- Positive and safe work history
- Basic computer skills
- Previous equipment experience
- Must be able to obtain a TWIC card
- Must be service and team-oriented and exhibit sound judgement
- Possess a high level of urgency to get work completed while keeping safety at the forefront
- Able to work in a physically demanding environment
