.NET Mobile Developer

We are looking for a .NET Mobile Developer to support our client based in Tallahassee, Florida.

US BASED CANDIDATES ONLY.  

Candidates available onsite in Tallahassee, FL are preferred. This role offers flexibility with the option to work remotely. However, candidates should be willing and able to commute to Tallahassee, FL, for occasional onsite meetings and presentations.

The project

TECKpert seeks to hire a .NET Mobile Developer to support our client, a government agency based in Tallahassee, FL. This role will collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI and associated technologies. This role includes designing responsive UIs, integrating backend APIs, and ensuring optimal application performance and security.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Develop and maintain mobile applications supporting Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows using .NET MAUI.
• Design intuitive and adaptive UI/UX components with XAML.
• Integrate applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and databases.
• Write and optimize C# code using .NET features like async/await.
• Implement platform-specific features and customizations.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
• Optimize application performance and design scalable solutions.
• Implement and manage DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.

Compensation and Term 

This opportunity is for a full-time, position with possible extensions and pay commensurate with experience up to $150,000 per year.  Medical, dental, vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire. 

Candidates are expected to work onsite at our client’s location. 

Qualifications you need

A successful candidate possesses or provides the following:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in developing mobile applications for multiple platforms (e.g., Android, iOS, Windows, macOS) using a cross-platform framework such as .NET MAUI, Flutter, or Xamarin
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with C# and mobile app architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP, MVC).
• A minimum of 1 year of .NET MAUI experience.
• Proficiency in XAML for designing user interfaces.
• Certifications: Microsoft Dynamics 365, MS Dynamics Power Platform.
• Experience with Visual Studio for mobile app debugging and issue resolution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in implementing security best practices.
