Data Analyst/Specialist
Location: NYC the candidate will be required to be in the office 2-3 days a week
Our client, a leading alternative asset management firm is looking for a Data Optimization Specialist to support the Real Estate arm of the business, who are responsible for creating data to inform decisions around high-value budgets associated with building amenities and developments. This involves planning and optimizing the utilization of spaces, facilities, and resources across various global locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Synthetic Studios to architect and structure data sources.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform decisions on building amenities, such as conference rooms, elevators, and restrooms.
- Manually pull and optimize data sets with flawed data for accurate decision-making.
- Deliver data-driven insights and reports to senior management.
- Work on optimizing data models to produce answers for various decision-making scenarios.
- Facilitate the migration of data to the cloud when appropriate.
- Ensure data security and restricted access to proprietary data.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data optimization and working with large data sets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data interpretation and delivering actionable insights.
- Familiarity with third-party tools for data collection (e.g., sensors, smart building toolsets).
- Understanding of data architecture and structure.
- Experience in working with proprietary data systems and ensuring data security.
