Responsible for building an AI/ML platform to support initiatives across the consortium. Our development of an ephemeral platform has significantly increased efficiencies among the data analytics teams.
We are seeking a teammate with expertise in Databricks Solution Architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Data Analytics and business unit teams of Data Engineers, Data Architects, Data Scientists, and ML Ops Engineers to design and implement AI/ML and data lakehouse solutions in Databricks.
- Ensure solution architecture alignment with Databricks platform architecture principles and best practices.
- Partner with the platform DevSecOps engineer to deploy and integrate new platform features.
- Automate platform management tasks using Databricks SDK and APIs.
- Document processes, workflows, and configurations to support operational efficiency.
Required Skills:
- Proven expertise in Databricks solution architecture and administration.
- Expertise in creating Databricks pipelines, workflows, data lake houses, and optimizing the overall environment.
- Expertise in connecting data sources with Databricks without creating system dependencies.
- Proficiency with Databricks SDK/API for automating platform tasks.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Databricks certification is a plus.
- Experience in DevSecOps to design, deploy, and maintain Databricks environments using SDKs and CLI, avoiding reliance on the Databricks UI.
