Career Description
Tecnova Electronics Inc. is seeking a self-motivated Electronic Technician who can accurately perform testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic and mechanical assemblies.
Candidates must have the ability to:
- Test and repair complex analog and digital printed circuit boards and assemblies
- Troubleshoot down to component level and repair all nonconforming material
- Soldering and de-soldering of components on surface mount and through hole circuit board assemblies
- Customer technical support
- Analyze process problems and test processes for improvement
- Comprehend and perform duties in accordance with an ISO9001 Quality System Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Associates Degree in Electronics
- 3 years technician experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of IPC and Certification in soldering, preferred
- Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting, preferred
- Knowledge of digital and analog electronic circuitry
- Knowledge of troubleshooting procedures
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation
- Contribute and work in a team environment
- Distinguish colors, fine circuit detail, and tones
- Excellent organizational skills, problem solving techniques, and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to manually lift up to 30 pounds
