How will you help drive the future of natural gas?
The Coordinator Gas Control is responsible for the direct oversight and support of the Operational Compliance activities within the Gas Control. Develop and maintain processes and data necessary for compliance with Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) regulations and company procedures. Responsible for developing operational and compliance recommendations based on regulatory requirements. Coordinate departmental changes with key stakeholders using the Management of Change (MOC) process.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution; in lieu of Bachelor's degree, additional years related equivalent experience may be considered.
- 5 years of work experience related to the Duties & Responsibilities of this position is required. Related experience consists of office experience in a natural gas utility in progressively more complex assignments / roles.
- Demonstrated skills in analysis and problem solving, successfully applying skills to situations of higher complexity in a logically and in a timely manner
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Technical aptitude, forward-thinking abilities, creativity, initiative, and resourcefulness
- Demonstrated excellent attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to individuals internal and external of PGS
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently

STORM DUTY REQUIREMENTS
TECO Energy and its companies serve a role in providing critical services to our community during an emergency. Team members are required to participate in the response / recovery activities related to emergencies / disasters to maintain service to our TECO Energy customers. Team members are required to work in their normal job duties or other assigned activities. Proper compensation will be made in accordance with the company's rules and procedures.
