Assembler I
Position Summary
The Assembler I will perform final assembly of cases & trays following work instructions to ensure product meets all customer expectations. The role requires the above to be accomplished within Tecomet’s principles of continuous improvement, customer driven innovation and a win first culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics.
Principle Responsibilities
- Standing at a work bench, assemble product from small and large components using small hand tools, including a screw gun.
- Assembly tasks include cleaning product throughout the process, installing silicone and handles and set up and run a pin printer machine.
- Report labor in an accurate and timely fashion and ensure traveler is filled out accurately.
- Stack parts on racks or appropriate table, ensuring line clearance to not mix product.
- Packaging of product to send to shipping include bagging, applying appropriate documentation, bubble wrap and boxing.
- Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by supervisor.
