Punch Laser Operator : 3rd Shift
Position Summary
The Punch Laser Operator is responsible for operating punch / laser machines to produce parts according to the required specifications. This role must be carried out with adherence to Tecomet's values of continuous improvement, customer-driven innovation, and a "win first" culture while ensuring that the company's financial and performance metrics are met. The operator's primary duty is to ensure that the punch / laser machines are utilized efficiently to produce high-quality parts that meet the customer's requirements while minimizing waste and maximizing productivity.
Principle Responsibilities
- Machine parts to specifications using documentation presented on routing / drawings and program hard copy.
- Employ use of inspection methods to ensure the quality of production.
- Ability to perform entry-level problem-solving skills.
- Ability to run one or more machine types.
- Maintains housekeeping and safety standards in work area.
