What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optimization Manager position at Tecovas?
Tecovas was founded with the simple goal of making the world's best western boots, apparel and leather goods - and selling them at a fair price. We are a brand revolutionizing a category and welcoming first-time boot buyers and western enthusiasts alike.
Tecovas is looking for an Optimization Manager to manage and optimize technical SEO and conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies to enhance site performance, visibility, and user engagement. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Digital, you will oversee SEO platforms, A / B testing initiatives, analyze test results for actionable insights and ensure alignment of optimization efforts with business goals to drive conversion.
This role is required to be based in Austin, TX. Candidates must either be currently located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX.
What you'll do :
Technical SEO Management :
- Platform Oversight : Manage and optimize the technical SEO platform, continuously monitoring and interpreting SEO performance data to make informed recommendations.
- Testing and Deployment : Develop, implement, and oversee SEO tests to assess the impact of changes on rankings, site visibility, and user engagement.
- Strategic Recommendations : Leverage data from the SEO platform to build insights and advocate for high-impact adjustments to site structure, content, and other technical elements.
- Trend Adaptation : Stay current with search engine algorithm changes and SEO trends, applying insights to proactively adjust strategies.
- Vendor Collaboration : Work closely with our SEO vendor, ensuring their strategies and execution align with business objectives and the latest SEO best practices.
