Summary Description

Responsible for the development, execution, and ongoing management of Zing Health’s value-based strategy. Additionally, this role is responsible for supporting the execution of the enterprise provider engagement strategy. This person will lead executive account management for Zing Health’s value-based contract partnerships, including implementing new relationships and ongoing performance management of existing relationships. Informs Zing Health’s value-based contracting strategy and performance incentive programs. Provides oversight and direction on how Zing Health interfaces, communicates with, and educates its provider partners across the contracting spectrum.

Essential Functions

Value-Based Contracting

  • Develops, executes, and manages strategy for value-based contracting;
  • Define and execute implementation plans for new value-based partners to ensure the successful launch of new partnerships;
  • Executive account manager for existing value-based partnerships; will serve as the face of Zing Health to our external partners and facilitate day-to-day operations;
  • Shall represent Zing Health’s value-based partners internally, managing across functions on behalf of Zing Health’s partners;
  • Lead joint operating committees with value-based partners;
  • Drive organizational awareness and alignment toward a value-based contracting strategy;
  • Develop a fundamental understanding of how partnerships impact day-to-day business processes at Zing;
  • Partner with senior leadership at Zing Health to integrate processes related to value-based partnerships;
  • Proactively identify opportunities (internal and external) for value-based partners;
  • Inform Zing Health’s performance incentive offerings across the value-based contracting continuum.
  • Define implementation plan for new value-based partners to ensure successful execution of agreements.
  • Lead and coordinate communications between Zing Health and its value-based partners, serving as the executive account manager for key relationships.

Provider Engagement

  • Partners with other leaders at Zing Health to develop and execute a provider engagement strategy with the goal of strengthening relationships with providers;
  • Examples include quality incentive programs, CSNP verification, member onboarding, etc.;
  • Leads, develops and trains internal and external staff on strategic initiatives related to provider engagement (strategic products, value-based partnerships, incentive programs, etc.);
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to address provider issues;
  • Provides input to provider communication such as letters, presentations, and collateral materials as needed.
  • Assist network operations leadership in managing strong working relationships with all providers; this includes visits with providers as needed.

General

  • Collaborative relationship within all segments of Zing Health, including but not limited to Actuarial Sciences, Information Technology, Member Experience, Sales & Marketing, Quality & Risk Adjustment, Finance, and executive leadership team.
  • Promotes a culture of compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent
  • 5 to 8 years of prior healthcare experience required (managed care, physician group, health system, healthcare consulting)
  • 3 years of account management, project management, strategic consulting, or value-based experience
  • Strong communication and customer service/account management skills
  • Self-driven with the ability to identify/assess problems with proposed solutions
  • Comfortable with a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data, financial reports, and legal documents; Ability to use data to inform strategy and action plans
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Salesforce software
