We are seeking a Commercial Roofing Foreman to oversee roofing installation, repair, and maintenance projects for commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of roof systems, and the ability to manage crews effectively to deliver high-quality work and within budget.
Your Duties:
- Supervise and manage a team of roofers to ensure the completion of projects according to project specifications, safety standards, and timelines
- Inspect jobsites before, during and after installation to ensure quality, safety and compliance with building codes and regulations
- Assign tasks to crew members and provide guidance and training as needed
- Communicate with project and operations managers and be able to address concerns and answer questions
- Ensure safety procedures are always followed
- Promote proper work ethic and enforce company's policies, procedures and practices
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
What You Bring:
- 5 years of experience in commercial roofing
- 2 years of experience in a supervising or leadership role
- Knowledge of roofing systems, materials and techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills, written and oral communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb ladders, and balance
- Must be able to frequently life/move up to 50 pounds
