We are seeking a Sales Representative for our Louisville office
The Sales Representative manages all sales activities within their assigned territory: building forecasts, reaching out to new and current customers, securing orders, delivering great customer service, and providing periodic reports. This role is responsible for driving sales and marketing efforts across the territory and supporting overall business goals.
Job Functions:
- Manages and takes ownership of the assigned territory
- Visits customers and potential customers onsite to assess long-term roofing service needs and develop tailored service programs
- Conducts roof inspections to assess current conditions and identify service opportunities; prepares detailed reports with photos and descriptions to assist estimating in preparing quotes
- Prepares and presents professional service quotes to customers
- Keeps up-to-date records on customers, facilities, and contacts in the customer management system
- Handles all assigned tasks within the sales territory
- Assists with collecting outstanding receivables and flags potential issues that may impact payment timelines
- Submits sales and lost business reports
- Takes on additional tasks as needed
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in roofing sales
- Solid understanding of basic roofing practices, methods, and sales processes
- Strong communicator, self-motivated, takes initiative, with good organization and a sense of urgency
- Basic math skills
