AutoCAD Technician (Land Surveying)

Tectonic is currently seeking a full-time AutoCAD Technician with AutoCAD drafting work experience to join our Survey Department within our Brandon, FL Office. This position provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development and to work with a diverse group of land surveying professionals!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential functions of this position include performing reduction of survey field data, photographs, and sketches, the calculations of and analysis of field data to develop detailed technical survey plans, and preparation of survey maps, including boundary and topographic surveys, plans, cross sections, and profiles using CADD methods. Additional duties include communicating with project managers, surveyors, and colleagues to modify drawings in accordance with project specifications, and printing, copying, scanning, and organizing CADD drawings. Occasional site visits may be required from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 year(s) of experience using AutoCAD 2020 or newer, with moderate program proficiency; 3D modeling experience a plus;
• Surveying experience is strong preferred;
• HS Diploma/equivalent required; Associate’s Degree or Certificate Program in Architecture, Drafting, or similar is a plus;
• Must be detail oriented, with effective written and verbal communication skills;
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
• Valid, clean driver’s license.

PAY RANGE

Tectonic’s goal is to compensate employees fairly and equitably across all positions Companywide. The offered pay may be outside of the provided salary range based upon the selected candidate’s work location, experience, education, certifications, and capabilities compared to the advertised position.

Pay Range: $25.00 - $28.00 / hour
