Tectonic is currently seeking a full-time or part-time Cadd Operator interested in land development plan production to join our Civil Engineering Department within our Orange County, NY Office. This position provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The essential functions of this position will include working with computer CADD systems creating, modifying, plotting, and releasing detailed layouts, technical drawings, and working drawings for functional use in accordance with CADD standards from existing drawings, sketches, scanned images, and client drawings. Essential functions also include communicating with project managers, engineers, and other CADD staff in order to create and revise drawings in accordance with project specifications. The Cadd Operator will also print, copy, and organize CADD drawings as needed, as well as all other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- HS Diploma required; Associate’s Degree or CAD certificate in related field is a plus;
- Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD 2020 or newer; Civil 3D is a plus;
- Functional proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to utilize other software programs as needed;
- Must be detail oriented, with effective written and verbal communication skills;

PAY RANGE

The offered pay may be outside of the provided salary range based upon the selected candidate’s work location, experience, education, certifications, and capabilities compared to the advertised position.
Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 / hour
