What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool lead and preschool asst position at Teddybear Preschool and Daycare?
Preschool/Pre-K – Aide Position and infant centerposition
Pay rate is negotiable and based on credentials and experience; without CDA starting $13 per hour. This position requires a reliable dependable individual willing to have patience and compassion to children
Requirements:
- Experience in early childhood setting preferred
- Positive role model
- Exhibit compassion and caring for infants and children
- Consistent with state regulations, be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Additional required training- All staff and volunteers who work unsupervised, directly with children must
- complete the following training, before caring for children:
- Successfully complete the Health and Safety training packet including blood borne pathogens
- Infant Safe Sleep and SIDS training
- Must have or obtain current Adult/Infant CPR & First Aid training
- Successfully complete new hire training
- Successfully pass or complete the following:
- TB Test and physical examination
- Complete fingerprinting and pass/clear the required background check process including an I-Chat, before an offer of employment can be made
- Sign a Staff Screening Statement
