Join a High-Earning, Respected ED Team Near NYC : Emergency Physician Needed with Bonus Pay & Nocturnist Support
- Emergency medicine physician is needed for this ED with a volume of 77K.
- You will see about 2.2 patients per hour.
- EMR is Meditech.
- There is no Fast Track but there are dedicated Fast Track Beds.
- Acuity is about 24%.
- It is not a Trauma Center but it is a designated Stroke and Stemi Center.
- Shifts run as 8s, 10s, or 12s (during the week it’s an eight-hour and 10-hour and then 12-hour shifts on the weekend) and start at 7am, 10am, and 11am.
- Dedicated nocturnists so very little nights if any.
- Physician coverage is 78 hours and 36 hours of APP coverage.
- Work 1532 clinical hours but you will be paid for 1872 hours.
- Full benefits including 10% bonus paid out in two halves each year (so another $30K).
- Receive four weeks of vacation and one week of CME with holidays rotated democratically.
- Scribes are used and 24 / 7 Hospitalist Coverage.
- There is a Simulation Lab and a GME Program.
- Live in a fabulous suburban community just under an hour from NYC.
