About the Role
The A shift- Maintenance Technician III is responsible for maintaining all company assets as designed through preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance practices using skills and tools available. Identifies repetitive failures and implements improvement plans with the help of engineering. To qualify as a Maintenance Technician III the candidate must have 3 or more years of experience at a Level 2 or 5 or more years of previous maintenance technician experience. The working hours are 7am- 3pm- occasional weekends.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Completes scheduled project maintenance to repair or rebuild equipment that is planned.
- Conducts preventative and predictive maintenance to maintain machine integrity and minimize downtime.
- Conducts reactive maintenance to repair unexpected breakdowns.
- Input detailed and accurate data into computerized maintenance management system.
- Maintains housekeeping, safety and environmental to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Additional projects as assigned by supervisor.
- High School diploma is required; with a journey worker certificate preferred.
- Completion of training program with 5 or more years job experience, or 10 or more years of job experience.
- Knowledge of Industrial controls and mechanical systems.
- Must possess valid driver’s license and transportation method for frequent trips between plants.
- 3 or more years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, extruded plastics preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel and CMMS.
- Ability to travel infrequently for training and vendor visits.
