About the Position :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our ICU team in a locum capacity. The role involves providing advanced critical care to patients during night shifts. You will work closely with a Critical Care physician available on-call for backup and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Job Type : Long-Term Locum Tenens (Permanent Position Potential)
Shift : Night Shift Only (6 : 30 PM - 6 : 30 AM, Thursday-Wednesday, 7-on / 7-off schedule
Pay : flexible
Key Responsibilities :
Manage critically ill patients in an inpatient ICU setting.
Perform required procedures, including Central lines, Arterial lines, Intubations, and Paracentesis (as needed)
Ensure thorough documentation and communication with the healthcare team.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Licensure : Active Washington State license required.
Certification : Board certification is required.
Experience : Prior ICU experience is mandatory.
Candidates with ARNP, ACNP, or FNP certifications will be considered based on experience. AGACNP certification preferred.
Skills : Proficiency in performing ICU-specific procedures as listed above.
