Job Posting : Data Entry Specialist (6-Month Contract, On-Site)

Location : Central Phoenix, AZ

Pay Rate : $20 / hr

Schedule : Full-time, on-site, with potential overtime (8-hour shifts on select weeks)

Duration : 6-month contract

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team for a 6-month contract. This role is responsible for accurately entering tax return information into multiple systems while adhering to standard operating procedures and customer-specific instructions. The ideal candidate will have strong keyboarding skills, maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency, and meet site productivity and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Enter tax return data with speed and accuracy into designated systems

Follow established procedures and guidelines for processing returns

Maintain productivity and quality standards in a high-volume environment

Communicate effectively with team members and management

Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and production goals

Required Skills & Qualifications

Effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills

Strong 10-key skills (15,000 KPH) and typing speed of 60 WPM

Ability to multitask, organize workload, and manage time effectively

Proficient in PC use, including Windows, Internet, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Drive)

Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor

Experience & Education

Required :

Previous data entry experience in an office setting

Familiarity with production and quality standards

High school diploma or GED

Preferred :

Additional experience working with high-volume data entry or tax processing

Additional Information

On-site position (remote work is not available)

Potential overtime required on select weeks (up to 8 additional hours)

Dress code applies : No long fingernails due to keyboarding requirements
