About the Role
We are seeking a skilled UAT Tester with prior government experience to join our dynamic team on a remote, contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and validating user acceptance tests for our government-related projects, ensuring that our systems meet stringent quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Execution : Develop comprehensive UAT test plans, test cases, and scripts based on business requirements and government regulations.
Defect Identification & Reporting : Identify, document, and manage defects using standard defect tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution and high-quality deliverables.
Collaboration : Work closely with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of UAT processes with project objectives.
Documentation : Maintain detailed records of test results, updates, and modifications to ensure transparency and traceability.
Continuous Improvement : Recommend process improvements to optimize UAT efforts and enhance the overall quality of deliverables.
Qualifications
Government Experience : Proven experience working on government projects or within a government environment, with a solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
UAT Expertise : Strong background in user acceptance testing methodologies, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with common testing tools and remote collaboration platforms.
Analytical Skills : Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Communication : Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Self-Starter : Ability to work independently in a remote setting, managing time efficiently while adhering to EST hours.
