Maintenance Technician – Camp Based (Delta Junction, Alaska) – Fly in and Fly Out
TEEMA is a staffing company who proudly serves over 1,200 Clients across Canada, the United States and internationally.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- The schedule for these roles is 28 days in camp and 14 days out / off ; this schedule is non-negotiable.
- Travel is ONLY provided from Fairbanks Alaska (candidates will need to incur the cost associated with travelling to Fairbanks)
- Camp is located towards Delta Junction – approximately 3 hours from Fairbanks – please note travel time is NOT Paid
- Travel days are to be determined upon hire and are typically Monday/Wednesday and Thursday weekly.
Responsibilities and Experience required
- Direct facility/building maintenance experience working on plumbing, carpentry, electrical, applicant repair and/or HVAC etc.
- Provide maintenance and repairs to structural, mechanical, utility, and electrical systems including Commercial and Residential Laundry equipment
- Maintenance and repairs of building interiors and exteriors including but not limited to:
- repairs of finishing, ceilings, flooring and roofing; appliances including stoves, refrigerators, water tanks, recreational electronics, Fire equipment, all kitchen equipment, Sports equipment, parking lot, backup Generators and washing machines
- Light plumbing, washer/dryer, toilet grinder repair, water heaters, kitchen appliances
- Support inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiate reordering when necessary
- Working in a remote camp or facilities maintenance site is a significant asset.Who is Our Client?
