Hiring a CMA - Certified Medical Assistant to work in a primary care clinic for employees at a prestigious company in Allegan, MI (zip code : 49010)
Position : Certified Medical Assistant
Location : Allegan, MI 49010
Duration : ASAP - 05 / 02 / 25 (Possible extension or conversion to perm.)
Pay : $23 - 24 / hr
Schedule : 40 hours weekly - The clinic operates from 6 AM to 4 : 30 PM Monday through Friday. We are seeking coverage for Monday through Thursday shifts. Other Medical Assistants work four 10-hour shifts weekly, allowing flexibility in determining the "day off".
Overview : This position could potentially transition into a temp-to-hire assignment for the right candidate. The role is based at an onsite health center supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
The clinic provides both Primary Care (PC) and Occupational Health (Occ) services. Candidates must have experience in primary care. While prior occupational health experience is preferred, we will consider candidates with impressive primary care experience. The clinic supports programs such as hearing and respiratory conservation, along with UDS / BAT testing for occupational health services.
Summary :
Primary / Occupational Care employee clinic
Previous experience in Urgent care, Emergency care, Occupational health, or similar settings is a plus
Experience with EPIC software preferred
Must be nationally certified or able to provide a CMA Diploma with Transcripts
Must have an active Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA or be able to get one before starting
Must have a clean background
