Position: Direct Care Worker

Pay rate: $22 - 33/hr

Contract: 3-6 months with possible extension

Location: Spencer, MA 01562

Work Schedule:
Shift: 1st - Mon/Sat 6 am - 2 pm; Thurs/Fri 6 am - 10 am
Days Off: Sun/Tues/Wed
Hours Per Week: 24

Shift: 2nd - 2 pm - 10 pm
Days Off: Mon/Tues
Hours Per Week: 40

Shift: 3rd - 10 pm - 6 am
Days Off: Fri/Sat
Hours Per Week: 40

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, and medication administration.

• Support individuals in accessing community resources, engaging in social activities, and pursuing recreational and vocational opportunities.

• Implement personalized care plans and goals tailored to each client’s needs and aspirations.

• Monitor and report changes in clients' behavior, health, and progress to supervisors and healthcare professionals.

• Maintain a safe and supportive environment by following protocols, including proper handling of medical devices, mobility aids, and medication administration.

• Encourage and support clients in developing life skills, including budgeting, time management, and job readiness.

• Document daily activities, progress, and incidents, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Essential Requirements:

• Must have previous experience in a Healthcare setting

• Active BLS/CPR

• Must have a clean background
