Posiiton: RN Case Manager - Autism Services Navigator (ASN)
Location: 100% Remote - Must be able to support PST/MST time zones
Schedule: Day shift; Mon to Fri (NO WEEKENDS)
Pay: $80K to $90K Annually with Benefits

***Important Note on Case Management Experience: For this role, we are not looking for hospital-based case management, as that experience is typically short-term and does not align with our team’s focus. Long-term case management experience, particularly in insurance-based case management or settings that require ongoing care coordination. Home care experience may be considered, but only if it involves a general population rather than exclusively senior care.***
Summary: The Autism Services Navigator collaborates with individuals and families enrolled in autism care programs, focusing on assessment, planning, facilitation, care coordination, and advocacy. The ASN ensures that patients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) receive high-quality, cost-effective care tailored to their unique needs. This role requires expertise in case management and strong communication skills to support families and address barriers to care effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive case management assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with beneficiaries and providers.
Monitor and update care plans regularly to address newly identified needs, services, and treatment options.
Serve as an advocate for families, ensuring access to specialized services and maintaining patient safety.
Provide guidance on benefits, enrollment, and community resources to help families navigate available services.
Participate in case evaluations involving sensitive or high-profile issues and present cases to medical leadership for resolution.
Coordinate and lead interdisciplinary team meetings with civilian, military, and specialty care providers.
Offer oversight and guidance to non-clinical administrative staff supporting care plans.
Required Qualifications:
Current, unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse, preferably a compact License or single state
Long-term case management experience, particularly in insurance-based case management or settings that require ongoing care coordination.
Home care experience may be considered, but only if it involves a general population rather than exclusively senior care.
Experience in pediatrics, behavioral health, or autism care is required in some capacity. While case management experience in these areas is ideal, it is not mandatory—as long as the candidate has some form of care experience in one of these fields.
Must have at least 3 years of clinical experience in pediatrics, behavioral health, ASD, or case management.
Eligibility to obtain a case management certification within four years of hire.
U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass a Department of Defense background investigation.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of experience working with individuals diagnosed with ASD.
Case management certification.
Technologically proficient, including Microsoft Office and medical management systems.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
