Bachelor's Degree or technical institute degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other relatedfield. Or equivalent work experience.
Experience
- 2- 3 years experience with:Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, and 2022.
- 2 - 3 yearsIIS Administration.
- 2 - 3 years of network communications, including TCP/IP and DNS Samba/CIFS file sharing and NTFS permissions. 2 - 3 years of strong professional experience in Microsoft Azure cloud systems is highly desired.
- 2 - 3 years of experience with other cloud providers, such as AWS or GCP is highlydesired.
- 2 - 3 years of professional experience in the administration of Microsoft software is highly desired.
- 3 - 5 years of ITwork experience in infrastructure/network environments in systemsoperations, support, maintenance, and administration.
- 3 - 5 years of professional experience supporting middleware such as API Management, IT Service Automation tools, and batch job services is highly desired.
- 5- 8 years of professional experience in information systems engineering or another relatedfield is required.
Primary Job Duties/ Tasks
The activities this candidate will be taskedwith include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support and expand infrastructure.
- Coordinate server configuration and administration with multiple parties
- Make recommendations for future server and software upgrades.
- Monitor systems and applications to ensure security, availability, and performance.
- Establish systems by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls.
- Maintains network and systems performance by performing systems monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting systems and application problems; escalating problems to vendor.
- Build and manage relationships in a matrixed environment.
- Find opportunities to refactor solutions to obtainbetter performance, cost,and efficiency.
- Create and manage AzureDevOps projects, git repositories, and pipelines.
- Oversee and configure Azure DevOps organizational settings.
- Recommend and assist with the building and hosting of complex application solutions.
- Understand, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure and/or other cloud services.
- Understand, deploy, and manage Microsoft Power Platform.
- Understand and manage Microsoft 365 services.
- Supports other IT staff,including developers.
