Job Title : Director Nursing Job ID : 77336 Location : Phoenix, Arizona Overview : Under the direction of the Administrator, this position plans, organizes and directs the Nursing Department of a Medicare certified, skilled nursing facility and the provision of nursing care and services to its Veterans / Members. What you will be doing :
- Oversees training / education programs for nursing personnel.
- Determines the appropriate therapeutic, physical and nursing environment, the necessary levels of nursing staff, the operational procedures and the evaluation of outcomes.
- Ensures all federal and state nursing home regulations are met.
- Serves as a member of the management team and on a number of facility committees.
- Interacts, as needed, with key management staff.
- Serves as a liaison with the Medical Director and providers relative to treatment plans, policies and procedures and regulatory implementation.
- Learns, implements and monitors Arizona Management System (AMS) methods.
- Utilizes AMS concepts and tools for problem solving and continuous work / process improvements and efficiency.
