Job Title: Contract EMT – Occupational Health Clinic (Day Shift)
Location: Madison, Alabama
Facility: Onsite Employer - Occupational Health
Contract Duration: until 6/2/2025 (possible extensions and perm employment)
Schedule:
Shift: 6am - 6pm
Days: 3 12-hour days per week. This is a 7 day per week facility.
Meal Break: 30 minutes
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Classification: EMT (Basic, Advanced, or Paramedic)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to support occupational health services at a Madison-based manufacturing client. The EMT will provide on-site support for workplace-related incidents, routine assessments and emergent care needs within a fast-paced industrial setting.
Responsibilities:
Provide immediate care for workplace injuries and illnesses
Conduct routine health checks and respond to employee health concerns
Document all interactions and treatments in accordance with clinic protocol
Communicate effectively with clinic staff and client representatives
Support other occupational health functions as needed
Requirements:
Active EMT-B, AEMT, or Paramedic certification for Alabama
Prior work experience as an EMT
Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in occupational health or manufacturing environments
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety protocols
