  Schedule: 07:30 am to 4 pm (Mon - Fri)
  
  Overview: Seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in patient care, clinical support, and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations within the healthcare facility.
  
  Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient interviews, record medical history, and measure vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, height).
• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for examinations and assist healthcare providers during procedures.
• Clean, sterilize medical instruments, and maintain infection control standards.
• Monitor, inventory, and order medical supplies and materials as needed.
• Operate electrocardiograph (EKG) and other diagnostic equipment for routine tests.
• Administer injections, treatments, and basic laboratory tests under provider supervision.
• Schedule patient appointments, and follow-up calls, and coordinate care as necessary.
• Perform administrative tasks, including completing OSHA-regulated forms and patient documentation.
• Maintain electronic health records (EHR) by accurately entering and updating patient data.
• Provide front desk assistance, answering inquiries and supporting office operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

  Additional Information/Requirements
• Primary/Occupational Care employee clinic
• Previous experience in Urgent care, Emergency care, Occupational health, or similar settings is a plus
• Phlebotomy Experience is required
• Experience EPIC - EMR software preferred
• Administering injections (medications and vaccines)
• Comfortable with Well Woman exams
• Must be nationally certified or able to provide a CMA Diploma with Transcripts
• Must have an active Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA or be able to get one before starting
• Must have a clean background
