Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team at a well-known company facility in Siler City, NC. In this role, you will provide comprehensive occupational health services, including preventive care, health assessments and management of work-related injuries and illnesses. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote employee health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and healthcare needs.
• Record physical findings and formulate plans and prognoses based on patients' conditions.
• Provide written home-going instructions and patient education.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals to develop comprehensive patient care plans.
• Prescribe or recommend medications and other forms of treatment, such as physical therapy or related therapeutic procedures.
• Refer patients to physicians or specialized healthcare resources for treatment as necessary.
• Maintain medical records using Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) software.
• Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices.
  
  

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in occupational health, urgent care, or primary care settings.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Preferably EPIC.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
