Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to individuals recovering from surgery, illness, or injury.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and implement prescribed treatments.
- Collaborate with doctors, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and carry out personalized care plans.
- Assess patients’ conditions, identify changes, and respond accordingly.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and recovery process.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients through proper infection control protocols.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong clinical skills in managing a variety of medical and surgical conditions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing compassionate care.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well within a collaborative healthcare team.
- Required to FLOAT to an equal or lesser Acuity, if requested.
