Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team of cloud engineers. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining a DevOps platform that supports development teams, with a strong focus on enterprise CI/CD pipeline development and best practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Jenkins, cloud-based solutions (AWS, Kubernetes), and infrastructure automation.
This position reports to the SVP of Enterprise Platform Engineering and offers an exciting opportunity for a technically savvy professional with strong interpersonal skills to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, develop, and optimize a Jenkins-based CI/CD environment to support large-scale deployments.
- Define, customize, and improve CI/CD pipelines with code scans and infrastructure automation.
- Enhance Jenkins for scalability, performance, and extensibility.
- Develop shared cloud solutions using AWS serverless, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Write high-quality, efficient code in Python or Node.js to support automation initiatives.
- Support the transition of technology teams to a DevOps-first approach and enterprise pipeline solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to automate infrastructure deployments and streamline cloud adoption.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3 years of experience managing and scaling DevOps environments using Jenkins for high-volume deployments.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Octopus Deploy).
- Proficiency with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Experience with infrastructure automation and Software-Defined Networking (SDN).
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Aurora, Lambda).
- Familiarity with GitOps, DevOps methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with multiple cloud platforms (GCP or Azure) is a plus.
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
